Sailing Triumph: Triumph in Rome
Greetings and Happy New Year. Since starting this blog Triumph as sailed from Spain, to Sardinia, Corsica, and Italy. There is a lot to tell about the trip; but for now, Triumph is in the Fiumichino Canal about 20 km from Rome.

We ended the sailing season in mid September. While living on Triumph in the canal, Eileen and I traveled to Piza, Florence, Venice and made several trips into Rome.

A couple of observations we have made over the summer were: Spain is more friendy than France or Italy, The food is better to France, Prices are higher in Italy.
The beer is great every where, and wine is cheep and excellent.


As I am learning about blogging, I will hold off much detail and photos until I know more about what I am doing. Dick
