Greetings from Turkey; Time is flying, we are in the midst of preparing to haul Triumph and then fly home.
We have been here almost three weeks. We continusly meet new peolpe and make new friends. The work routine is simple, start early when it it cool, work until lunch then come back and do light work or just go swimming. The temp gets to about 90 each day. Our slip overlooks the bay so we get a good breeze and it also cools off to the 70s about 10 at night.
Yesterday, I went to Marmaris by bus. to help a Turkish friend put up amateur radio antennas. he manages teh local repeaters and so set up a special frequency for me to make calls all over the world via my 2 meter ham radio. So far I have called a friend in Italy and have talked a friend in SCC, FL.
About 7 pm yesterday, Eileen and I took our dinghy out to an anchorage to visit friends we have known for about 10 years. They live on a steel trawler.
It is 5:30 pm and happy hour is about to start on Triumph. I'll try to attach a few photos on Yat marine and the harbor. Dick
